What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers contain special gel to increase overall skin volume, elasticity and hydration. This non-surgical procedure is the right choice for you if you are concerned about: lines on your forehead, hollows under your eyes, sagging and sunken cheeks, prominent nasolabial folds, loss of volume in your lips.

With modern dermal fillers you can minimize nasolabial lines and scars, emphasize your lips, augment your cheeks, fill deep wrinkles. In short, get the youthful appearance you want. Millions of men and women worldwide are satisfied with their results from the procedure. Depending on our patient’s needs, we may choose from the best providers of dermal fillers such as Restylane/Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse и Teosyal, Ovita, Revanesse and Emervel.

A consultation is required prior to the procedure. You will discuss with a doctor the details of the procedure and the results you desire. You will have your before and after photos taken (for medical records only).

Before applying dermal fillers, we may numb your skin with a topical cream. Appropriate areas of the face are then carefully treated with a thin needle. The injections are brief and you should expect to feel minimum discomfort or pain. On average, the length of filler injections is about 10-20 minutes, depending on the treated areas.

After the procedure, you may resume regular activities. However, we advise you to avoid strenuous exercise and excessive exposure to the sun or heat for 24 hours.

The aesthetic effect lasts 8 to 16 months and the exact duration depends on the dermal filler used. For the best results, additional sessions are encouraged.

In our clinic, dermal filler procedures are performed by a licensed Medical Physician with specific training in the Medical Aesthetics field and a wide range of experience in Europe and North America. Dermal filler procedures are not delegated to a nurse or a physician assistant.

Please, feel free to discuss all the benefits and side effects of the procedure according to your medical condition during your individual consultation with a doctor. The cost of the procedure can vary depending on the areas to be treated and a product to be used from $400 to $600 for one syringe.
